It is a syrup dough, filled with almonds, cinnamon, and flower-shaped hands, in the shape of a finger. They are thin and long in shape, like fingers, and are called ladies fingers. It was also previously served in the ladies' homes.

Ingredients

For 1 Dozen(s)

For dough

2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbl. sunflower oil
lukewarm water
8 tbl. sunflower oil for frying

Για τη γέμιση

1 cup of almonds finely ground
1 tbl. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. rose water

For the filling

1 cups of sugar
2 cups of water
2 carnations
1 stick of cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Fingers Directions

  1. We open a thin sheet.
  2. Cut rectangular shapes.
  3. Place 1 tsp on each piece of dough. stuffing.
  4. Roll roll, press the two ends with fork and fry.
  5. Drain them out with a pierced spoon and pour them on warm syrup.
  6. Drain and serve cold
